Lonestar - Official Artist Site

Just a week after the release of their critically acclaimed new album Never Enders, Lonestar has released the music video for the title track and current single exclusively on THE BOOT. Impacting Country radio now, NEVER ENDERS was penned by Richie McDonald, Deans Sams and songwriting veteran Marv Green- who was a co-writer on the band’s mega-hit “Amazed.”

The boys headed just south of Nashville for the music video shoot where they transformed the Shelbyville Municipal Airport’s runway into a set. Performance   scenes were shot directly on the runway with Luminary Creative’s video director Jacob Moyer at the helm.

Never Ender’s celebrates the groups past 24 years of success while optimistically looking ahead to whatever the future may bring. In a recent interview with The Rowdy, Michael Britt says: "Never Enders touches on a lot of emotions and brings them to surface. It's about not giving up and moving forward.” See more from their interview HERE.

cover600x60010 million albums later and still proving to be a force to be reckoned with, Country supergroup, LONESTAR, is celebrating the release of their new album NEVER ENDERS. Released today with new label home Shanachie  Entertainment, the album features 10 new Lonestar songs that showcase the group’s trademark sound.  Impacting Country radio now, the title track, NEVER ENDERS, was penned by Richie McDonald, Deans Sams and songwriting veteran Marv Green- who was a co-writer on the band’s mega-hit “Amazed.” The album has  been met with rave reviews from critics and fans alike. Never Enders is available now on iTunes HERE.

NASH Country Weekly’s Alanna Conaway proclaims: “’Never Enders’ is an  invigorating reminder of the untouchable harmonies that distinguished them from  every other band in the late ‘90s, and even still to this day.”

“With smooth production to compliment McDonald’s gravelly voice and the rough  edges of the guitar twang, the album is a nice blend of the grit that one associates with  old-timey country with modernized, pop melodies that make the songs shine as exactly  what they are – strong and honest. The album doesn’t stop, but rather forges forward  with each chord and lyric to mirror the acceptance of nostalgia and a true voice style”  - Nashville Country Club

One Stop Country says: “Lonestar doesn’t need any studio frills or additives of pop  infusing their songs to make them work; they just simply put their strong talents on  the table and it works on this album, just as it has on those that have come before it.  Lonestar’s comfort zone becomes a refreshing reminder of how country songs and  their lyrics can still impact a listener.”

With massive hits such as “No News” and “Amazed,” Lonestar quickly cemented their status as one of country music’s biggest acts in the 1990s, but the band has been quiet in recent years. In April, however, Lonestar will release their 10th studio album, Never Enders.

Set for release on April 29, Never Enders will feature 10 new Lonestar songs that “bring the trademark sound into the contemporary arena,” according to a release from Shanachie Entertainment, the band’s label. The project’s title and title track are a tip of the hat to the group’s longevity in country music, an optimistic manifesto of sorts for a band that’s been playing more than 100 shows each year for the past two decades. The multiplatinum country music group Lonestar will be among the featured performers this summer at the Merced County Fair, organizers announced.

The group of Texans who first began performing together in Tennessee are celebrating their 20th anniversary with an extensive tour, for which they are reuniting with original lead singer Richie McDonald. The Merced appearance is one of more than 90 dates scheduled across North America.

Lonestar, which is known for merging country roots with relaxed rock and pop influences, will perform at the Merced fairgrounds on Saturday, June 11.

AR 303179920Michael Britt is still amazed by the past 24 years.

The guitarist and his fellow Lonestar bandmates -- Richie McDonald, Keech Rainwater and Dean Sams -- have been able to make music, play shows around the country and have all kinds of fun since they formed in 1992.

And they're nowhere close to being done.

"We enjoy this now just as much as we ever did," said Britt, 49.

Even now, the hit-making country band keeps on truckin'. Britt and his bandmates, who just wrapped up recording their new "Never Enders" album that will drop later this spring, will play a two-show event presented by the Meadville Fraternal Order of Police on Sunday, 1 and 6 p.m., at Allegheny College in Meadville. Special guest Larry Frick will also perform during the shows.
